Jerusalem hostel and tour experience

I booked a private room at Abraham Jerusalem and a Dead Sea day trip. The booking online was straightforward, took about 5 minutes. The room was basic but clean, bathroom was decent. The Dead Sea tour picked up right from the hostel, which was super convenient. Our guide was knowledgeable, and the trip itself was fun. They sent a confirmation email right after I booked and an email reminder a day before the tour, which was helpful. Overall, a solid experience for what I paid.

Good Tel Aviv stay

I stayed at the Tel Aviv hostel for a few nights. Booked a dorm bed and it was fine, clean enough. The rooftop bar was cool for meeting people. Location was good for walking around. No complaints really.

Hey, thinking about booking a bunch of tours and maybe some hostel nights in Israel with these guys. Are their tours legit? Like, the quality of guides and stuff, or is it more just a bus dropping you off?

P Phil Lindqvist 4 months ago
Yeah, they're pretty good. I did the Petra tour with them last year and the guide was super knowledgeable, kept everyone engaged. Definitely not just a drop-off service.

I stayed at their Tel Aviv place and did a Dead Sea day trip. The guide was great, shared lots of cool history and made sure everyone had fun. They're known for good guides from what I heard, not just bus drivers.

quick question for anyone who's stayed there - are the dorms super loud? trying to figure out if i need earplugs before i book a bed in jerusalem.

J Jared 4 months ago
It really depends on the people in your dorm, but generally, their Jerusalem place is pretty social so there can be some noise. I always bring earplugs just in case.

I stayed in Nazareth and it wasn't too bad, but I think Jerusalem might be a bigger party spot. They do have quiet hours though, I think.
